About The Dinner:
Join us for a six course special dinner bringing awareness to the contributions of immigrants. Proceeds will be donated to Benito Juarez Community Academy. The evening will begin at 6PM with a cocktail and performance by the Benito Juarez Community Academy mariachi band. Following the entertainment, the first course will be served at 6:30 pm with a folkloric dance performance halfway through the dinner.
RESERVE: Please make your reservation on Yelp for La Bestia Dinner on 1/17 at 6 PM to secure your spot.(https://www.yelp.com/reservations/portsmith-chicago-2).
The cost of attendance is $100 per person, including tax and gratuity. Beverages not included.
This event is in partnership with Children First Fund and Chicago Public Schools, as CPS is the third largest school district in the country, and Chicago has the largest population of immigrants of Mexican descent in the U.S. outside of Los Angeles.
We wanted to target a program or school that would have the greatest impact and selected Benito Juarez Community Academy. The student body at the school is largely made up of children of immigrants and proceeds from this dinner will benefit the school’s mariachi ensemble, folkloric dance program and culinary program.
